KyooBe Tech GmbH
LEEI Application Assessment

Project

KyooBe Tech, a subsidiary of equipment manufacturer Bausch+Ströbel, has developed a new technology for pathogen inactivation. The LEEI method (Low Energy Electron Emission) disrupts the pathogen DNA or RNA, while surface proteins remain largely intact.

D&N supported KyooBe in evaluating possible applications of the LEEI technology, especially in viral antigen inactivation for vaccine production.

Goals

  • Estimation of manufacturing costs for various vaccine products
  • Direct cost comparison of LEEI with conventional inactivation methods

„Gregor and his team have supported us repeatedly over the past years, providing valuable insights for our product developments.

What I particularly appreciate about our collaboration is Gregor’s comprehensive knowledge of biotechnological processes and his production experience. We always receive the input we need, which is certainly a reflection of D&N‘s high level of customer focus and flexibility.

Through the D&N network, we can also access consultants with expertise in other areas, such as business development.“
