Due to more than 20 years of experience in process engineering and manufacturing, Martin has extensive experience in the design, qualification and commissioning of production facilities for biotechnological drugs – complemented by the know-how to build production teams.

After studying bioprocess engineering, he started his career in the Manufacturing Support & Technology department at Sanofi in Frankfurt. Later, he was involved in the development of an Epo process (recombinant erythropoietin) at the contract manufacturer Rentschler and its transfer to manufacturing. In the further course of his career, Martin was responsible for various expansion projects for biotech drug substance production at Rentscher, Sanofi (Geel and Frankfurt) and Lonza (Visp).
Martin is from Ammerland and lives with his wife in the countryside near Ulm. He is a passionate hobby cook and enjoys being outside in his own garden.
