With over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Manfred advises his clients in business development and sales for new and established products and services – in development, technology transfer and GMP production of drug substances and products. Thanks to his own experience as entrepreneur, he is familiar with many of the challenges that biopharma start-ups and technology companies are facing.

After studying biology and completing his doctorate in medical biotechnology, Manfred founded the first biotech spin-off at the Research Center Jülich. After selling his company, he moved to the biotech CDMO Rentschler as Head of Sales. Based in southern Germany, he built a global sales organization with a branch in the US and a South Korean agency.
After many successful years with Rentschler, founding his own consultancy gave him more entrepreneurial freedom again. At the same time, he took on the temporary position of Technology and Innovation Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim in Biberach. Manfred then went on to rebuild the Contract Manufacturing business at Glycotope Biotechnology in Heidelberg.
Manfred advises young innovative companies, SMEs and corporations. His large network and diverse contacts in business, science and politics open doors for his clients and provide them with a wide range of opportunities.
Manfred was born in Cologne and has been living near Ulm for over 20 years. He enjoys cooking, and he is interested in culture, sports and old cars.
