Gregor knows from firsthand experience how process development, factory planning and production intertwine for a successful product launch. Utilizing more than twenty years of extensive experience in biotech and pharmaceutical companies and as a consultant, he develops individual technical and organizational solutions for and with his clients, for development and production, quality systems and capital investment projects.
After studying chemistry and earning his doctorate in biotechnology, he began his career in engineering at Bayer in Leverkusen, before moving to Berkeley, CA, to establish a process engineering team for the production of the recombinant blood clotting factor VIII. Next he assumed manufacturing responsibility at Rentschler, a medium-sized contract developer and manufacturer.
After a stint at the start-up Micromet as Head of Technical Operations, he joined io-consultants (consultancy and engineering) as a partner. There he developed the pharma/biotech division and was responsible for sales as member of the management team.
Gregor advises medium-sized companies and start-ups as well as big pharma and has led several successful realignments and turnarounds. He is a certified coach and works according to systemic principles. With D&N, he wants to support companies in their sustainable development – economically, ecologically, organizationally and in their corporate culture.
Gregor was born in the Rhineland and lives in Heidelberg with his wife and three children. He loves to cook and play the piano.
